Re: Embarrassing FJ Video

you really think muds are the answer? Trust me me they do not work in snow. I learned the hard way in my wrangler.need chains to break the ice.U have to hit solid ground dirt or gravel for all tires to get traction.$hit happens what can I say.even the best monkey drops the bannana from time to time.

Re: Embarrassing FJ Video

My Toyo MT's rock in the snow!!!!! My bother Has a 07 Tacoma with nitto mud grapplers and a 6" lift, and we go out all the time in 2-3 feet of snow and I only get stuck when I get high centered on a snow drift 4-5 feet deep. Chains wont help u there either. MT's ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus the driver make a huge differance as well.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Do you know if these tires are any good? I have yet to test them out.

Re: Embarrassing FJ Video

maybe you could come down to socal and give me some pointers.I sure for $hit couldnt get traction bro.dont know what f-happen??maybe the uphill incline has to do with it.on a flat surface u r okay but once it starts to go up that's where the problems begin.

P.s- f a Benz last time this $hit happens.nxt time Ill be stuffing carpet & twings under my tires.

Re: Embarrassing FJ Video

I don't know about ur traction problem, all I know is, I seem to do great in the mud and snow with them.

As far at the tara grapplers go, they are a good all around tire. Much less aggressive than the MT's or the Mud grapplers. My guess is that they should do just fine for ya. Take that bad boy out and find out!!!!!!!! Let us know and take pics.
