Imagine how the wife of a police officer feels, watching the news and seeing a quick blurb, "Police Officer shot/killed. News at 11." Every cops' wife suddenly goes NUTZ! Not cool. Thinking every kiss before he walks out of the door might be the last. Wondering if the next time they see their husband might be at the hospital. They go through a LOT. Not to mention time away from the family at holidays, birthdays, other special occassions. A police officer's wife IS a true hero.
you are exactly right. speaking from experience....i was a police dispatcher for over 20 yrs and was married to police officers. noone knows....unless they have been there. noone knows what a police officers' funeral is like unless they have been there also..........A police officer..the wife/husband and the dispatcher...are all hereos.

Re: Fallen Heros

God bless all who serve!! Police, fire, military!

Today is the 1 year anniversary of Toledo Police Officer Keith Dressel being killed by a 15 year old punk. I did not know Keith but my cousin did. We will not forget you Keith!

To the 15 year old punk, we will not forget you either, may you rot in hell!
