Just a heads up since this is usually held in October.

Re: Off Road Expo at Pomona This Weekend 4/4/08

Just got back and pretty much a dud, mostly desert stuff for the big rigs and sand buggies.

Trail team was there and they claim Toyota will release a fix for the bulges within the month.

Pretty expensive, and you can cover the whole thing in less the 40 minutes.

I have two tickets if anyone wants them, I certianly am not going back.

Brian, I'm going Saturday morning. Jeshua and StHarris will also be out there. Give me a ring if you go.

Bob, I would take your tickets, but it's probably going to cost me more money driving out to you to get it.

Mike, I'm not sure which car I'll take yet. FJ needs a fill up.

I don't think I would even come close to making it, and then getting back to my current duty station......Kansas.
Damn, that place was awesome the first year the FJ came out and yes, I took full advantage of it.

Re: Off Road Expo at Pomona This Weekend 4/4/08

I just wanted to clarify the comment about Toyota officially coming out with a recall regarding the body rips in the next month. I just want to make it known that was something that was posted on a IH8MUD and that is where I read that. I am hoping that Toyota comes out with some sort of plates to re-enforce the cracks. I am very sure that as time goes on that they will take care of the vehicles, they always have and will.

Re: Off Road Expo at Pomona This Weekend 4/4/08

Big one is in October. This one is probably not even half the size in sq ft and vendors. If you guys go take some pics and post. I have family stuff to do this weekend (inlaws). I will be going in October for sure.

Re: Off Road Expo at Pomona This Weekend 4/4/08

One building and not even close to being full.

Parking and entry for one puts it at 18 to 22 bucks.

Very little there for FJ's that I saw.

Trail Team was not handing out swag on Friday.

I lied about the tickets, they are for the RV show at the beginning of parking.

You can see the adventure trailer from the side though. That is the main reason I went anyway.
