Re: Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

All the suggestions sound great. I'm in Huntington Beach, but I'm willing to drive anywhere.

Re: Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

i wouldn't recommend Holy Jim.. to easy/short. Just today i went from the beginning to the end and back in less than 10 minutes.. Main divide would be great, Much better views, and a little lengthier.

Re: Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

I'd be willing to head out to Borrego on Saturday morning. I can even lead if you want. It's easy enough for your father to feel safe yet just challenging enough for a teensy bit adrenaline.

We don't have to do the rocks up Coyote Canyon. The third river crossing is plenty to get an off-road experience.

I just want to take my 70 year old dad on a nature run in the dust. I'm looking for an easy, chill trail adventure on dirt roads with not much climbing and crawling. Any ideas? I'd love to see him smile and take a turn on the wheel.

Maybe the desert?
So, you've got a couple options here. If you'd like to do Main Divide this weekend, let me know. I have some time available.

After this weekend, my time is booked till May, and we could go then.

Re: Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

My pops is out for the next two weeks. I guess he has a new church (!?!?!) I, however, am down for local this Saturday if you want to do the main divide. The earlier the better for me because of work.

MuddyGrrl, I'd love to hit Borrego and I want to take my dad. Is there any chance we can do this on the 26th or 27th? We could probably get a good caravan going?

Thanks to all.

I'd love to make a run out there!! The evening of the 27th I have a wine-tasting fundraiser I can't miss. It starts at 6:00PM. Probably shouldn't risk not making it off the trail by 3:00!
Sunday is wide open, however. Want to post up a new thread?
