Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

I just want to take my 70 year old dad on a nature run in the dust. I'm looking for an easy, chill trail adventure on dirt roads with not much climbing and crawling. Any ideas? I'd love to see him smile and take a turn on the wheel.

Maybe the desert?

Lots of Coke cans and fast food boxes on the floor. MTB tire tracks all over inside. Girlfriend installed on the passenger seat who overlooks the fact that she could do so much better than me.

Future Mods: TRD CAI, Rock Rails, Air Dam, ARB air locker when the warranty expires.

What area are you in? Coyote Canyon is not bad at all if you don't go into the rocks. It's beautiful right now.

I was thinking the same. Holy Jim Canyon has plenty of nature, dirt, and a few easy play areas to wheel. Let's go!

Old Ridge Route Road is nice. Main Divide is easy.

Where have you been? I haven't been on a trail with you for over two years.

Re: Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

Nice to see this going!

I haven't been out in about a year (the last being the otay truck trail in SD), so my experience level isn't that much greater. I got into mountain biking and between that, work, and finishing an album, I haven't got out much. I can't believe it was that long since we went on that run. Time to go again!

What dates are we interested in? I'm thinking maybe in a few weekends? I'm down for anywhere, the more the merrier, but we need someone to lead this thing as I'll be unqualified in the new area. I'm showing my age a little, but I'm stoked to do this!

Re: Anyone looking to put together an easy run?

I'd like to join in on the fun...I don't have offroad experience so this might be a good opportunity to break-in the FJ and me. It would also be cool to meet some fellow FJ'ers.

Subscribing.
