A soft link is just a symbolic link, no need for a doctor. But what's worse is a bad hard link which is a pointer to the file's i-node. That really sucks

I know, I've been asking for a WWAN interface so I can roam about and not be tied down.
Although being tied down with a hard connection can be good because it's a better connection, usually a bigger pipe with more throughput
