Yes! It was 12 years ago that Sojourner landed on mars.
It is an annual event.

If anyone goes to this tomorrow, go to the Mars Science Lab (big a$$ rover) and see if Ashwin Vasavada is there. He knows all about the FJ Cruiser underworld - mention you saw this on fjcruiserforums as well
He's the Deputy Project Scientist for the whole project and the guy that got me into wheeling

No.... IIRC, it was designed to last 7 days but did last about 90.
I am in awe of the new rovers. They have been running on Mars an incredibly long time!!!
