My buddy's almost-brand-new FJC doesn't have diff lock nor A-trac (no substantial skids, no sliders, & no lift, for that matter) Is it do-able, staying on the main road? I am looking for an easy trail as an intro to 4-wheeling for him.
Without a doubt! Stay on the main road and you can do it in a civic

I have not done the whole thing yet, only the first mile. Sometimes the gate is shut, sometimes it's open. But if it is shut, its locked with a pin, so all you need to do is pull it to unlock it.
Unlock it at your own risk..
I was right. I know the gate. I think every time I have been up there it has been shut. I did once see a stake bed truck go in with a bunch of Mexicans looking for more cardboard it looked like.

Earth Day...a Pagan ritual intended to indoctrinate our youth
and replace GOD in our culture with worship of mother gaia.
"Climate Change" is normal, natural, and inevitable. Regressing civilization back to the stone age will not alter it one iota.
Black procession through the narrow aisles
Another's gone for all to see
Near the site for one who lost his trials
Sleeping neath the ground is me
