Well born in the OC and then transplanted to the IE bout 23 years now!
I am first gen Californian, and the only one from my family born here, all my brothers and sisters and parents were born in Northwestern Pennsylvania. how ever, Wrigmans/Scott's family on his moms side, his grandfathers side of the family predates statehood, he has copies of ships mainfests about his grandfathers great, great grandfather(might have too many greats in there, but who's really counting!) coming to california around the horn back in the 1830's to 58 or so, he was a ships carpenter, we just found all this out recently it is kinda cool, and seeing copies of the original documents to prove it too! way cool! So Scott is truly from a California family!
It said i voted in this poll, but i do not remember voting? If i didn't can some one (Larry) add my vote to the IE Riverside county!
Riv. CO./SD. CO Present! I live in temecula if anyone ever wants to hit some basic trails (i say this because im locked 2wd, but willing to test the limits) im more that willing just shoot me a pm!
SoCal rocks all the way around. You can surf in the morning, snow ski in the afternoon and wheel in the desert (with overheads on) at night. We have it all. Now if there were somehow 1/3 of the present population and the orange groves returned, I'd be happier. But I guess you can't have everything your way.
I miss the smell of orange blossoms in the spring.

there is still orange groves in the west side of Hemet, always a nice treat to drive through them in the spring.
I also love driving down Victoria Ave (between La Sierra and van Buren in Riverside in the spring.
