DeMello's SLOW BOAT TO OURAY CARAVAN

This is going to be the two day convoy to Ouray CO. There will be kids in this group so to keep from going crazy we will make the 13 hour trip into a two day adventure. We will have a stay over in Beaver UTAH and continue on the next day into Ouray CO.

So far in our group we have the following people and rigs.

Jason DeMello towing "big Sexy"
DeMello Wife driving "Kid transporter"
Todd driving "spruce goose"
Dylan Evans "the goat"
Jeremy Wallace Towing "The race FJ"
Thong driving "the silver ghost"
David driving "Tankota or yellow trash can"
Fun Junkie Driving (rattle snakes for condoms machine)
mattmainster (the sticker dude)
frogeye (where is the rest of the frog)
DominicG (achey breaky Heart)
FJ-Ollie (do you ride skate boards or is it anther ollie)
Nevada_FJ (sniper guy)
underactive (sorry I don't know anything about you)
mir207 (loves his OME)
jt's cruiser (sorry i got nothing)
MudLovingFJ (loves to show his buldge)

AGENDA

DAY 1: MONDAY JULY 14TH

8:00 AM
• Arrive @ DEMELLO OFF-ROAD (1210 E. 6th Street, #K Corona, CA 92879) with a full tank of gas!
8:30 – 8:45 AM
• Brief drivers meeting to discuss communications, hand-out maps, etc.
8:45 – 9:00 AM
• Double check cargo, load up passengers, etc.
9:00 AM
• Depart DEMELLO OFF-ROAD
12:00 – 1:00 PM (approx. 175 miles)
• Stop for fuel & lunch
1:00 PM
• Depart lunch stop
3:30 – 3:45 PM (approx 175 miles)
• Stop for fuel
3:45 PM
• Depart fuel station
5:30 PM (Approx. 111 miles)
• Arrive COMFORT INN: 1540 S. Main Street, Beaver, UT

DAY 2: TUESDAY, JULY 15TH

8:00 AM-9:30 AM

• Meet at Timerberline Restaurant for breakfast
9:30 – 9:45 AM
• Depart Timberline Restaurant to local fuel station
9:45 AM
• Depart for Ouray!
12:30 PM-1:30 PM (Approx. 175 mi)
• Stop for fuel/ Lunch
1:30 PM
• Depart fuel station/ lunch
4:00- 4:15 PM (approx 175 mi)
• Stop for fuel
4:15 PM-5:00 PM
• ARRIVE BEST WESTERN @ OURAY, CO!

Just imagined if the slow boat merged with the fast boat. Would we have a medium boat?

On second thought, we'd have a really slow boat but who cares. We could take turns drafting each other and rotate the leader.

I don't think were really going to be that slow but we do have kids and if everyone as a whole wants to stop and look at pretty things along the way we can do that.
