Does anyone live near to the Merced, CA area who is interested in helping me install a complete SAW kit and Headers and y pipe?

You're too far away to help, but make sure to get the proper Gaskets b/w the Headers and Y pipe. I had to replace mine 3 times and lost a nut because of using the improper gasket.

Great. Did you have to get them through the dealer?

Re: SAW Installation (F&R) and Doug Thorley Headers and Y Pipe

The stock ones don't work as the inner diameter of the pipes is wider. I believe the I.D. is 2.25 inches. I went to autozone and dug thru their collection in the back and luckily found 2 that worked. They look similar to the stock one, and fit perfectly within the indents on the y pipe and headers. Looks like a big O. not the ones that have the holes on the sides for the bolts to go thru. I believe they were felpro brand. Also I bought lock washers and used loc tite on the bolts since after a few hundred miles, one bolt fell off and the rest were loose.

good luck! and what kind of exhaust do you have? I have the stock one and at certain rpms' there is a knocking sound from the muffler.
