Gold Mountain.

On Sunday I knd of tricked my wife into doing Gold Mountain with me. She doesnt like to do anything beyond easy. To me it was easy so that is how I defined it. It was a great trail, mostly easy I thought the first ledge past the mound was probably the best obstacle. When she saw that she asked if I was sure this was rated easy and I stuttered a little and said that there were a couple of moderate places. It was a rough ride for her and my excuse was that I had never done it before.
All in All though it was a good time with great views and a little relief from the heat.

Re: Gold Mountain.

Yeah, but the REAL questions we need to ask are:
1) How many nights do you have to sleep on the couch now?
2) Are you able to go back go GM?
3) Does she want to drive GM now?

Re: Gold Mountain.

THe couch is an understatement. I cant answer the other questions because she's not speaking to me.

Re: Gold Mountain.

That's funny....

I've noticed that you can't win, whether the spouse goes or not. (some anyway, mine included).

At the summit, she didn't go the first day (as it was Alpine Loop and 6-8 hours long), and was kinda pissed and all "why are we even here with you?". She was happy to go on Imogene, but there were several "oh crap" and "JESUS", and my personal favorite, "please don't look over there".

At least I'm not on the couch, and still on speaking terms.

I suggest jewelry and flowers. Works every time. Send flowers, plants, & gifts baskets. Flower delivery from ProFlowers..
