Alignment Shops?

Recently installed my IVD Stage I suspension. AWSOMENESS!!!! I retained the factory rake of the FJ which is nice and what I wanted. Handling is superp on the street and HWYS and ate up the bumps at Wildomar recently. I need an alignment now. Been two weeks now I think the suspension has settled. Anyone know a good aligment shop in OC area? or Riverisde area?

Re: Alignment Shops?

I have a buddy that does my alignments for $40 since I get them done so often. The shop is in Chino Hills. PM me and I will give you more details.

Re: Alignment Shops?

I went with Tire Kingdom. They do a good job so far. And I paid like 130.00/ 3 years and can go as many times I want. They even rekon I wheel offroad and they're cool w/ that. Worth the $$$

Firestone in Costa Mesa. I paid $170.00 for a lifetime alignment package for the FJ. I have had the alignment done 5 times so far and every time its spot on.

Re: Alignment Shops?

Oh while we are on the alignment issue, I am thinking about adding wheel spacers. Is this a good idea since the truck is lift? I would guess it adds more stability and a wider stance. So far its just my stock wheel/tire combo. Should i get the alignment before or after the spacers or it doesn't really matter? Any help guys?

I don't know if the spacers will affect the alignment too much but as a rule of thumb I would get the spacers on first before the alignment just in case. Also I would check into which spacers would be best because I have heard horror stories of people running cheap wheel spacers and breaking them on trails. I would just recommend saving up and getting wider wheels all together. A wider stance when lifted is usually a good thing since it offsets the increased top heaviness from being set higher up when lifted.

Re: Alignment Shops?

Got my alignment done in Temecula on my lunch break. Front tires look good now and steering feels better. I guess I'll just stick to stock offset for now.

Thanks Everyone
