holy jim

so whats the deal with holy jim? i heard its illegal now. i havnt been by there in a few years. anyone been up there lately with an FJ?

was searchin around on google and apparently you can pick up a day pass for $5 but im not sure on the last time the website was updated.

btw for those of you who dont know where it is its in trabuco canyon in the back of orange county.

Holy Jim is open and free, if you leave your truck you need and adventure pass. It's in my backyard. How about friday am run?

i'm gonna hit up holy jim tomorrow (saturday) -- take my camera up there and wander around. Do i need an adventure pass to walk the trails?

I heard you could get em a the convenience store down the road by the school there...

I changed the link up above -- it has the GPS coords so you can do a trip planner thing with it now.. google will give you directions

5 freeway south, exit El Toro go towards hills (East), Turn right at Live oak and follow over to school, Turn left off the pavement where it looks like the street goes through a river bed. and follow the riverbed up the hills. This is just one enterance. The one I have used a few times and never had any problems. Have not been their with the FJ yet but use to go their with the Liberty a few times. This was like 2 years ago. Things might look diffrent now.
