The part is the same, the part # was updated in the system. TRD did not change the bends, diameter of tubing or chrome on the exhaust tip. So, he did not read it wrong.
IMO, he tried selling the part at the price he was suppose to (what was listed on their computer), and according to his posts, he
DID not know about the forum price and
DID NOT ask for it, and was offered a $50 discount for his troubles. I'm sure if he asked for the forum price, that price could have been easily verified and given to him.
So, he is mad because there was a change in part #s and
he didn't know about the forum price???
Thats not a good reason to talk bad about a company.
NTP has always gone out of their way to take care of me, my family & friends (even years before I was on the TTs) and Maureen/Muddygirl even bought her FJ there.
One time I ordered a part just before I had to leave town to go out of state, distribution did not ship it out on time, and Carrie had it shipped it to me overnight (and got it delivered by 7 am!!!) and with out charging me the very expensive shipping costs.
