Good chance of moving to Durban.

Fellow FJers, my girlfriend and I are seriously contemplating moving to the R.S.A. from the U.S., I am pondering the idea of shipping my FJ as well. We plan on staying in Durban for at least 5 years. Can you share any websites that might give employment availability listings? I am a truck driver.she is a nurse. Any free help would be appreciated. Cheers

Sorry, I have no info! This does sound like an adventure though.

Hit up Containerized. He sold his FJ so he might not be here much any more, but he's over on ExpeditionPortal for sure.

Re: Good chance of moving to Durban.

Try: jobs.co.za, career24.co.za, careerjunction.co.za
For your girlfriend I suggests she applies through the private hospital groups such as Netcare, Mediclinic and Life, you can google their websites.
Remember SA is a right hand drive country like the UK and Japan, I.e. we drive on the left side of the road.

I don't think you are allowed to import/drive a left hand vehicle in South Africa.
I heard some new law doesn't allow that anymore.
As for the jobs: the websites u were given as well as the private hospitals is correct.
Good luck.

Re: Good chance of moving to Durban.

Why would you want to come to Durban? From Florida?
