Houston

I'm going to be in Houston in June, I'll have half a day to kill. Any recommendations on things to do? I'm staying at the Double Tree on Westeimer next to the Galleria.

Thanks

Re: Houston

I hate Houston and avoid it as much as possible, but there are some great places to eat there. One not far from where you'll be staying is Ruggles Grill at 903 Westheimer. You will not be disappointed if you like really good food.

Re: Houston

Stop by the Galleria for a quick second. I'm guessing you won't have your rig so going to Spring Creek is out of the question. If you have an appetite and never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory sometimes that's a delight...

Re: Houston

I should get ahold of hotrodguru and some others and we can take a run to the creek. Its not too far and could be a nice break from the risk assesment training. Its a thought.
