It may be a touch of both.

I (oddly enough) love the fact that I'm from Louisiana. Everywhere else you go and people find out your form La. They have a million questions.
"Is the food really that hot?"
"Do gators just walk around freely?"
"Do you guys all live in the swamp?"
"Can you cook for me?"
"You've been a Saints fan for 32 years; Do you really not like yourself that much?"

Typical questions. But I don't find myself asking questions about other states. Other than the statement of "I wish our weather was that nice."

So I'm proud of Louisiana. So we've got messed up politics. . .at least our gov. can say Louisiana.

I'm with you on this WildBill!! Born and raised in La.

Now that you bring it up, I get asked pretty much the same questions when people find out I'm from La. I also get, "Do you really suck the heads?"

I do get "accused" all the time of being from NY or Boston because of my "accent". I just look at those people like their nuts.

I'll try one last time......Anybody else out there other than me and Bill???
