Question Southeast Off-roading Locations?

Why are there no (or certiantly not as many) off road parks in the South East?

I keep seeing these great pics people are posting from runs in these dedicated off-road parks and I am VERY jealous.

I know there is the Tellico and Uwharrie but where else???

Those look cool but they are 12 hours away. I was hoping something closer to an hour or so...

Anyone out there know of places?

Tellico, TN on the TN/NC border...google it or search for it on this forum. I haven't been there, but it will most likely be my next trip.

Re: Southeast Off-roading Locations?

Parts of the Daniel Boone National Forrest (SE KY) have OHV areas.

I googled OHV areas and found this site

Re: Southeast Off-roading Locations?

Maybe its just Eastern NC that is SO far away from a park. Looks like the 3-4 hour drive to Uwharrie is the closest.

I'm gonna buy a shovel and make my own...
