I have an AG as well and live in a condo building close to the west end and broadway split but all of my accessories came from the dealership. Nothing too special. Would love to beef it up a bit but I have to be able to pull in the garage at the building.

With all of these FJ's in the area, we need to get some kind of ride or something together. I just broke 5000 miles on mine. woohoo!

I bet your the one I saw on West End. Thanks for the inspiration. I couldn't be happier with mine.

Re: Flat green FJ in Nashville on I-440

Hey new to the forum and hope to have an fj very soon! Me and my wife are in love with the army green color that is our first pick. I wish I would have seen this thread earlier. I just went to Savannah GA and called every dealer between Murfreesboro and there looking for a green fj so we could see the color in person and no one had one. But on the way back I got to see one briefly on the interstate and love it!! Hopefully I can meet some of you guys after i get mine.

Edit: FJMAN5000 ive never seen your FJ around the murfreesboro area would love to see the color in person and not traveling down the interstate.

The olive drab green is a daily driver, and works near FedEx off elm hill dr near the airport, I see it every day when I go to work...not a fj owner yet.

Re: Flat green FJ in Nashville on I-440

The FJ you guys are talking about is mine. I bought it in Charleston SC a few years ago and the previous owner had painted it the flat green. I asked the dealer if they could source the paint that was used and they acted very peculiar. I recently sustained some minor damage after my rear psgr side tire blew out on 65. Now I'm searching for a paint that matches. I'm beginning to think that the FJ may have been sprayed with CARC paint which is Chemical Agent Resistant Coating that the military uses. Anybody out there know of anyone that may has access to a CARC painting facility??

Check your local army surplus store. If they don't have it they should know where to get it Wink wink!

Re: Flat green FJ in Nashville on I-440

It looks way lighter in this pic on a sunny day, but the paint is very non reflective. Only bad thing is it's very prone to scratches and fingerprints showing easily. Everyone's first instinct when they see it is to start rubbing the paint. hope the pic loads

Re: Flat green FJ in Nashville on I-440

The wonderful thing about flat colors is they are easy to blend. As far as color matching check with these colors Federal Standard 595 Colors of MilSpecCoating Products I am looking for my 509 and painting manuals for some manufactures of paint used by the military. I have some knowledge of this stuff too by the way. I am in no way THE expert, but do have 15+ years as an aircraft painter in the Navy (Aviation Structural Mechanic First Class).
