The factory options can not be changed after allocation but port options can be. Don't let anyone tell you different. We have been allocated our one per dealer FJ and everything after this will be "preferenceable" We can ask for what we want but there is no guarantee. If a dealer is truly custoemr service oriented they will at least try to swap with another dealer to get the color and option combination you want if it is available.
Just got a call from my dealer in Dallas. She said that all the FJs that Gulf States is getting already come with the convince package, package 1 or 2, and side air bags. Everything else is added at the port. If I give her a configuration tomorrow morning, it MIGHT arrive by the 3rd week of March.
I’m hung up on the options. Keep getting a configuration over $30K.
Just Got A Call From My Dealer In New Iberia,Louisiana. His Info Was 146+- Dealers And They Are Getting About 27 4x4 And The Remainder Will Be 4x2! My Preferred Request Was Voodoo 4x4 Loaded And He Will Get A Black 4x2. Go Figure! He Is Trying To Do A Little Horse Trading----
