How sure are you about this? From conversations with both SET, CAT and 2 dealers it was my understanding that the rock rails show as a conflict and they can not be added in port.
Not calling you out, this is just different then what most of us have been hearing.
The system allowed me to do it today, Unless they update the conflicts, it can be done. Regardless, the best way to do this is buy the rock rails from the dealer or aftermarket so you would still have the running boards since you are paying for them any way.

Cool, thanks for the info. I just went with UP instead of UR and was able to avoid the running boards. Sure, I lost out on buying a $60 sub but in all honestly I'm not too worried about it.
Toyota calls all of these areas ports whether they are for domestic (rail carried) or Japanese (ship carried) built vehicles. Obviously everything was shipped in originally and its just easier to call everything port.
An aftermarket sub should surface soon. Crutchfield and Qforms have a lot of custom built boxes and I wouldn't be suprised to see one offered for the FJC soon. Especially with the demographics that it targets.

Probably wrong on my part but I figured since they were only charging $60 for the sub and amp how good could it be anyway.
For anyone that is getting UR, don't take this as a slight, I was more then willing to pay $60 for it, it just isn't important enough to me to forgo getting my truck in the first run. As it is I have been waiting to buy a new truck for 7 or 8 months.
Absolutely. They can place an order to GST which then goes to Toyota in Japan for building. As long as nothing conflicts with the packages you can have it built with as much or as little as you want. Like I said earlier, the biggest issue is finding a dealer that is willing to place the order for you. Most dealers feel that whatever they get will sell so why spend the time ordering something special. It doesn't cost more to place the order so don't get tripped up there. If you are ordering something way off the wall expect to put down a deposit. Get EVERYTHING in writing and make them put a time limitation on the deposit. This should not take longer than 120 days unless there is a MAJOR problem which to my knowledge has never happened with Toyota.

hey, what did downgrading from UR to UP have to do with deleting RB and did you get rock rails (or are they not available, hey I live on this site, but things seem to change evry minute.
