I'm moving closer to purchasing my FJ, but I don't know what to expect when making an offer. What should I expect to pay for an '07 silver with convenience package and upgrade package #1 without any tire/wheel package upgrades. The price on the sticker was right at $30,000, and I found it at Toyota Mall of Georgia. Will I be able to get them much under $30,000? Thanks for the help.
Thanks guys! Trust me, I'd pay the sticker if I could afford it. However, I'm looking to pay around $27,000 or so. Is this doable with an Upgrade package?
I found the FJC I wanted and offered $1400 less than the sticker. The dealer took it without batting an eye. It was the fastest negotiation I've ever had buying a car. Kinda feel I should have offered less.

Toyota says:
Driving your FJ Cruiser off-road does not automatically void your warranty but any component damaged by the off-road driving or performance problems resulting from the off-road driving would not be covered.
I doubt you'd get an FJ with and upgrade package for 27K. If you can live without the upgrade, then just make sure you get one with a rear diff locker, so you can add the ATRAC switch on your own. Most people are upgrading the stock stereo anyway, so all you get w/ the upgrade is steering wheel controls and a cheap subwoofer.
Ask yourself, "What about the upgrade package do you value and can you go aftermarket for a better price for that feature?"

I would try Team Toyota in Lithia Springs. I got my FJ from them about 1600 under MSRP. I shopped around quite a bit and followed some of the tips here: HOW TO buy an FJ in Colorado way under MSRP
I suspect you can get it for about 27500. I am seeing that it is a different ball game now than a few months ago when people had to pay sticker (or higher). The dealers (at least some of them) are willing to deal now.
In my case, I got my deal after several email and phone exchanges with them. They actually ordered it for me to get it with the exact options I wanted and it came in after about 3 weeks. Wes in the Internet Sales Dept is the guy you want to deal with. He is awesome. If you go in person, I would ask for Chuck.
As far as Toyota Mall of Georgia goes: they are nice, but they were not willing to deal on FJs. I also distrust any dealer that has their lot structured where you have to go through the actual building (and be harassed by the vultures) just to get to the vehicles.
Truth be told, I paid way more than I should have. That being said, I also bought the first one available in Atlanta and like FJGotham, I wanted it now.
I would also try Atlanta Toyota. They seem to be dealing a bit more now that they have FJC's in stock constantly.

May be a little bit of a drive... but I'd think it would be well worth it. At least the phone call costs little to nothing... so can't hurt... Highly recommended dealer in NC!!
