Guys and Gals,
I am in Atlanta for a few weeks doing training for a new job with AT&T. I want to lift my FJ using the Revtek kit. Is there anyone around here that can do the install? (at a reasonable price). I have no idea how in depth the install is but it cant be that bad. Dealership wants $400 to do the spacers and rear shocks. If anyone can recommend a place to me it would be greatly appreciated or if someone wants to make some money, Id be more than willing to pay for a backyard install.
Thanks,

I havent even purchased the lift yet. That is the kit I am looking at though. I will order the lift this week, Im still debating between OME (ive used it before) and the revtek kit. My big decision is the lift height, I dont want to go 6 inches, but the last OME I had (Land Rover) settled at just under 2". I want a little more height than that. I will probably do Coil Over lift at some point once the car is out of warranty and paid for. The revtek seems easily reversible if I had to for some reason. Im looking to run the Nitto Mud Grappler in 285/75/16 on moto metal or possibly 33x12.5x17 on stock steels. Im thinking either of these should work fine. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Honestly, if you are worried about warranty issues, don't lift it. Doesn't matter what you do, if you lift, your CV's (and other parts) are out of warranty.
Now, if you really want to lift it, spacers will cause a larger difference in the angle of the CV's, you are better off with a suspension lift. For the price, time, and function, just do the OME.
My 2cents.

alright everybody...I have decided on the toytec full coil lift. 3" in the front and 2" in the rear using OME coils. I ordered it today so I will have it mid-week or so. I am planning on using 33x12.5x17 Nitto Mud grapplers. I know of Midas and will call them, one member has offered his service on trade for steel wheels, I am willing to pay cash if someone wants to take this on. 4 springs, 2 shocks.
Please let me know, thanks for the advice on lifts.
Wow, this is getting to be a popular lift option. FJCRUSR is getting really good with the spring compressors. We have done 2 of these within the last month. When are you in ATL?
