Re: Allatoona Saturday 26th

I am tentatively in. I took mine to the dealer yesterday for the 15k service. I went through a couple of small mud holes, etc. a couple of hours later down at a place near me. After that I was sitting in some traffic on a secondary road and noticed the temp gauge was unusually high. I was sitting in this spot for about 2-3 more minutes and during that time the gauge climbed to about 1/8th of the way from the red. I got moving again and on the interstate and the temp returned to normal levels. Hmm... I checked the coolant when I got home and it was full. A little later I went out again and went through a fast food drive thru (sat for about 5 minutes) - temp started climbing again. It didn't go as high as the 1st time, but it was higher than it should have been imo.

I went to a diy car wash last night and sprayed down behind the radiator etc. and so far it hasn"t been heating up like yesterday.... I need to get one of those wands like some of ya'll have.

Re: Allatoona Saturday 26th

I'd love to, guys, but I'm already heading to Lanier to try out the girlfriend's sister's new Supra wakeboard boat No more fat sacks here!

Next run I should have the new wheels and tires on. Still debating the old MTZ versus Open Country m/t but I'm getting closer!

Have fun and be safe!

Re: Allatoona Saturday 26th

I'd like go but, what time do you think y'all would be heading to Allatoona? I'd have to leave by 1pm (gotta work), so if it's late morning, it probably wouldn't be feasible for me.
