I was wondering if any of you Georgia guys have been to River Rock ORV. Is it all pretty hardcore or are there some mild trails too? It'd be cool to get the FL, GA and AL groups together some weekend. I'm wondering if this would be a good place or if it's too much. If anyone has been there, please speak up.
RRORV is a blast. There are mild and wild trails. We can rent the park for the weekend and camp there (showers onsite). If enough people are interested I could get intouch with the owner and set something up.
I would definately camp for the weekend if the date works out.

Alright, It's about a 6 hour drive from the Tampa Bay area. I'll see if I can drum up some interest from guys down here and then we can figure out a date.

If I can drive 5 hours to the event you guys are having this weekend, then you sure as hell can beotch smack some Floridians into coming up here for the same. RRORV has a combo of mud, hills, rocks, and manmade obstacles. I will get some info on what new trails and such he added this year and get back to you all. Once this thing builds some steam/interest, then we can agree on a date and I can see if that is available. I will likely trailer my Jeep (via the FJ), since I can't afford to get wheels/tires, lift, skids, sliders, etc anytime this year (no budget for it). I like to get a bit nutty out there and I am not ready to add any permenant scars to the FJ when I have an offroad toy available. I am itching to reach the limits of my toy so I will have a good excuse for spending money on upgrades. As previously noted, you don't have to take the adventurous route (most trails have easy drive-arounds for the harder parts), I just like the adrenaline (cheek clinching) rush. I will post a few shots of a prior outting at RRORV so you can get an idea of what it's like.
