Attention FJ Cruisers In Georgia - July 14th's Ride

I am wanting to plan a little road trip up to the North GA Mountain's. That would be up 400 past Helen. I would like it if we could all meet up and have lunch somewhere around 12:00 then head for some of the local trails up that way. I will be doing a little research to see what trails might be good but am looking for suggestions as well. If you want a certain trail then let me know and we will shoot for that one. If this sounds good let me know... I kinda like to plan ahead so we are all in the same boat. After we get done riding we can look forward to going somewhere and having a few beers

So what do you say are you in or out !?!?!?

Let me know....because if we can't get a good group to go there is no point.

Keep me posted,
TK n FJ n GA

Looks like I'll be in NYC for this one. I'd love to hit one of the mountain trails soon though.

Have fun!

Hi TK,

Thanks for trying to schedule the ride. I do know some roads/trails north of Helen. They aren´t as challenging as what we normally do, but there is some good scenery through there. Unfortunately, I come back from Spain (in fact I am posting this from Madrid) that day and won´t get in until the afternoon.

Ouray for me too. FJSummit 2007 National Meet

The only trails I know of near Helen are Tray Mountain and are just a few miles north of town off Hwy 17(I think). Then the next nearest trail system is Beasley Knob which is about 25-30 miles northwest of Helen.

Could also arrange for Dawnsonville, but you have to know the owner.

Hi Tim,
I like the part where you say ( Scenery ). That sounds great to me I would love to do something like that. I havent really seen any of nature's beauty this year to busy ending up in the hospital twice this month. I am thinking about changing the date to the 21st of July if anyone is still interested. I think I will be getting together with Tim to discuss possible trails. If anyone is still on for this let me know. If not ohhhhhhwell can't please them all.

Keep Cruising,
TK n FJ n GA
