Uh!!! When I got home, at 8 pm, I had an email with the subject line of "stuck" and a telephone number!
I called, but everything was OK by then.
So there definitely is a story to be told here!
AND:::: For Future Reference...
EMAIL (send text) or call to my cell phone number if this happens, I am always willing to come out and try and help somebody. But when I am out, I can't check my regular email, but I always have my cell phone.

There is a story all right. Followed Paul's map and started south off of 50. About 9 am, followed the trails for a while and came to a water area on the trail. My friend didn't want to bring his jeep so we were in my FJ. While the water didn't appear deep, it was and halfway through we dropped down into some real sticky mud and bottomed out. Used the CB to call out. Some gal answered but didn't seem to understand where I was. Paul all I had was your email, that's when I sent the email. I finally got a small cel signal and got thru on 911. I started walking out leaving Rick with my truck. After about a mile, a cop car was approaching, he called AAA for me.
After about 30 minutes the AAA truck showed up. This thing was a huge flat bed. The guy didn't even want to go back there. Finally had to pay him $80.00 to winch me out.
So we still had fun because it was adventure. Saving for a winch, now. Should have known better, but with the FJ sometime you feel unstoppable and think you can go any where.
Paul called my cel when he got the email. Well, Paul, now I have your cel phone, thanks for answering.
Sorry no pics!
By the way water only entered through the door when I opened it. I was over the bumpers for about 1 & 1/2 hrs. I kept the engine running while waiting for help. Everything cleanup great and dried out too.
Had better runs, but you take the good with the bad.
