Re: Richloam WMA ride Short Notice- 10-20 or 21 -07

Super great summary Archie!! And a super great time!

Yep, a lot of tannin colored water, some which flowed into and out of our FJC cabin before we could get pulled free by a TRD. Whoops!

And the "Limestone Lagoon" was pretty neat...

I will work on the photos, especially that shot of Gamera's cousin, taking your hand off. lol

Gallery with 79 Photos!

Archie likes to drive through water! Yikes!

Close up shot of the depth of the deep water that Archie just drove right through!

Many spots had double paths!

This is not good, water running out of the door! Maria wanted Archie to wait pulling me out, to get the camera to take a photo of our FJC deep in water and not moving, but the water was rising too fast inside the FJC Cabin.

Water everywhere, coming and going! But it was nice, clean, and easy driving water most of the time.

We finally hit some water that we decided was a little too deep and for too long of a distance to try and ford it. See the water mark on Maria's Pants. Boo Hisss

Did I say there was water out there?

Limestone Lagoon!

A steep little hill!

Archie getting up and over!

Archie had already went through here a couple of times.

The limestone was really slick there. I had a hard time getting out of that little bit of water, or I NEED NEW MUD TIRES, Maria,,, Maria,,,, did you hear that!

Archie sure likes going through water, any type of water!

Here is that photo of the "enormous turtle" that we displaced when I ALMOST got stuck in some mud, again. Archie moved him to a less trafficked area. lol

Bridge to Nowhere! We could not figure out why it was here?

Did I say Archie likes driving through the water yet?

LOL... Sorry, Corey, blame Archie... lol

I did not know I was going until a little before 10 am Sunday.

No one posted they wanted to go, so I decided to stay around Tampa and I was at home when Archie called me from the Richloam area a little before 10am wondering where I was. Arrrrggggg.....

So I blasted down the road (oh, I like to drive over 90 too ) to get there by 11am, which we did.

OK, I will call day or night next time... lol

And you better answer with that dang burn iPhone of yours!!!!! j/k

RRR is drying out!

Like a 4-Wheeling Forrest Gump would say, "4x4 exploring is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get, but its all sweet."
