Hi. Me and my two sons (8 and 6 years old) went to Uwharrie for the first time today in the new FJ ( I got it Wednesday ). We did the Rocky mount loop trail and we had a blast. No pics I was too busy driving, and no carnage to report thankfully. The trail wasn't crowded at all, a couple of bikes and 4 wheelers. We did see one more FJ (Black TRD) stopped and spoke but didnt get any names.

Me too, I've been looking for places in eastern NC to go wheeling, but it's so flat and too close to the beach I think. I'd love to spend the day in Uhwarrie, but I don't want to go by myself, and I really don't think I could handle the wife in the FJ with me. She's bad enough on the highway.
My wife hasn't wheeled with me for years. She grabs the "Oh Sh!T" handle on the freeway in her Honda Minivan when I drive over 70.
I'm not sure when me and the boys will make it back to Uwharrie but I'll give a shout out here before we go. I think Uwharrie close's on the 12th.
It's not that she's scared, but her and her brother used to wheel all the time when they had Jeeps so she would be telling me what I'm doing wrong the whole time and "too fast over that rock" and "you're going to tear it up" and stuff like that. I would feel bad if I had to leave her on some random trail. I would go back to get her, of course.
