We played in Florida also,

Hey, FLCA members, don't forget the annual FLCA Easter Weekend Run. March 21 - 23.

Jerry D.

Archie and I did a pre-run for the FLCA Easter Weekend Run.

As we didn't want to hurt any FJC's in the making of this run, we took our 40's. I'm sure that you FLCA members with the FJC's may want to prove to us that the FJC can safely do whatever a 40 can . So here is your chance, check out the Florida Land Cruiser Association web site for more information. If the info is not on the main page yet, give me a few days to get it posted. But for starters, here are a few pictures,

Jerry D.

Maybe even a Fire Arrester. Remember my exhaust has already melted my bumper.

Hmmm, "Pre-Run," looks more like "Star Trekking" you know, "Going where no man has gone before." lol

BTW...

Re: We played in Florida also,

Bush Hog attachment is directly underneath...amazing what a 1/2" thick steel blade will do!

Only set it on fire once...the 40 that is! Strange smelling smoke pouring out from down under is a bit concerning but my fire fighting friend Mr. Dixon came to the rescue...flames got a little too close to his deer stand so he immediately appointed himself "Chief". The second time around (same fire just remaining embers) was much easier...I decided to blow it out under the 40's own power...I should have entered her in the 500!

Mission accomplished! All seven trails cleaned out and ready to go...they even have names now! A little Spring time rain and even more obstacles for your wheelin fun. Bring knee high water proof boots! Just in case!

This is sure to be a great weekend of campin', cussin', cachin', and crawlin'.

OOOOOO, fightin words! I only got stuck once at Walloby and that mud hole ate everyone who tried it except JD (who went first), even the baddest 40's! I sincerely hope to see you at the Easter run along with my non-camping wife. (she agreed to give it a try - a little concerened about the "facilities" lol)

FLCA members, don't forget the Easter Weekend run, March 21 - 23 up in Perry. Check out the www.flca.org site for more information.

The weather should have made the area challenging, hope to see you there.

Here's a couple more pictures from last year...
