Georgia on my mind

I really though some of our GA brethren might join us at Skyline this weekend but I guess that got other things going on. Looks like I'll have to wait until ya'll go to Morris Mountain again to meet you guys.

Re: Georgia on my mind

Skyline sounds fun and we'd love to see more of you SMC guys, but I know a handful of us are going to Cullowhee for an expedition trail run. Just bad timing.

Re: Georgia on my mind

I can't speak for all GA folks, but I know a few that have The Gulches on their calendar that weekend. We'll see...Harlan looks like an awful lot of fun. I couldn't find the registration page? Do you register on the Black Mtn Rec site or elsewhere?

That is also a bit of a haul from Atlanta for a just a 3 day event (ha, I'm a hypocrite...I'm going to the LSLC Roundup in 3 weeks!) I'm still on the fence with Harlan. I'd have to take Thursday afternoon and Friday off to do it properly.

I don't think there is any registration for the Harlan ride. Just show up and wheel. Terry can correct me if I'm wrong though.

Phil is correct, no registration needed. It's a 5 hour drive from my house, plus a hour for the time change. But it's worth it

Re: Georgia on my mind

Good deal. Kinda makes it tricky to become a member if we can't match ride dates. Although membership ain't exactly the goal - having a grand time on the trail with good folks is! We're pretty much booked through GSMTR. Trying to build up my wife's Grand Wagoneer and keep my rig in top running shape too in between trail rides. This GW is going to be a beast on the trails when we get done.
