Charlotte, NC FJs

My husband and I got our Black Diamond in February and have been reading stuff on the forum ever since (even though I just joined yesterday). We live right below Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC and see several FJs around the Charlotte area all the time. Just wondering if any of y'all are around Charlotte...

Re: Charlotte, NC FJs

My husband posted some pics back in February in the new arrivals section...his username is RAILROADN (so mine should make more sense now ). We actually live right near the Tega Cay line so we are on the other side of 77 for the most part but who knows, we may have seen ya!

Re: Charlotte, NC FJs

Glad to have another around NC/SC region...

I know at least one FJ that has come wheel'n that lives in or near Tega Cay. You may want to check out the Upstate Cruisers or Olde North State Cruisers (both TLCA clubs) for meeting others who have FJ's of all types.

There are many FJCruisers in the Upstate club and we are getting more in the ONSC. ONSC is having a meeting up my way (in Apex) tomorrow and I think that Upstate is having theirs on March 1st. Good way to meet others with the same interests and find more FJCruisers in your area...

Agreed! Today we are going to Uwharrie, but since I am taking the *whole* family and some extended family, I have to take the Sequoia! So, no off-roading, just some hiking today.

Maybe we need to organize a weekend to go for all the charlotte/suburbs guys to meet up!

Re: Charlotte, NC FJs

Congrats on your FJ and nice to have you onboard.
My son and I just moved here from Florida 4 weeks ago. I work and live in South Charlotte.
We're planning Uwharrie soon.
Maybe we can get a group formed to go there soon.
Oh, and if you see me, just wave

Re: Charlotte, NC FJs

Good to know there are some more of you on here! I typically see one or two a day but yesterday, as a matter of fact, I saw 9 in the Charlotte area alone...no joke! We definitely would like to meet some fellow owners so we'll have to plan a trip sometime soon!
