Re: Atlanta Area dealer question

I realize they didn't call you back, but I would highly suggest you contact Bill Dietz at Marietta Toyota. I've bought my last two Toyotas from him and they were the best car-buying experiences in my life. I completed the entire transaction through e-mail (until I took delivery of course), and he provided me with their bottom-line price without any haggling. He came so far below what other Atlanta area dealers were trying to get out of me with my first car purchase that I didn't even bother to shop around for the FJ (although I did go to Cherokee Toyota for a test drive, but they have a policy of not trading with other dealers so I would have been stuck with whatever they had in inventory if I went with them- Bill at Marietta got my car direct from the distributor in Jacksonville).

If you decide to contact him I suggest you use e-mail. Write him with the exact configuration you want and he'll get back to you with his price and how long it will take to get it if not in stock. It will be lower than the Edmunds TMV, and I'll wager it will be lower than any other area dealer will quote you. You can reach him at bdeitz.MariettaToyotaScion@gs.reyrey.com

Re: Atlanta Area dealer question

FJ Cruiser Queen?
There has to be a story there, and a pretty good one I'll bet.

I ended up getting my FJ from Sandy Springs Toyota, I walked out for invoice not counting taxes and it was mostly painless. Mostly it was just convenient as I was in that part of town already and they happened to be willing to deal. Kind of random really.

Now I just need to figure out where to get everything else I want as far as aftermarket goes. I came out under what I had thought I would so I can indulge my inability to leave things well enough alone.

Re: Atlanta Area dealer question

If you are looking for a TT, might I suggest Morgan Smith with Serra Toyota in Birmingham, Al. I bought mine through him and got a fantastic deal. I think he has one coming in soon. Morgan is a great guy to work with just as the others mentioned. He gave me the out the door price with no haggle or problem. He is incharge of the internet sales group. Just call him and let him know you want the deal Kyle got. I was happy and had no 'buyers remorse'. Just my 25 cents worth (inflation rate of 2 cents). What ever you decide make sure you take your time. I took 8 months and reaped a decent benefit. Bought it on the last day of the month, low rate, etc...
