ATL: Carpet mats for Rubber mats

Hey guys I just picked up my fj this week and have the carpet mats. I have mats for all seats and also a carpet mat for the rear cargo area. Does anyone want to trade for the mud mats that are made of rubber? Ill trade any of the mats out.

Re: ATL: Carpet mats for Rubber mats

Someone, a vendor, had the full set of rubbers for about $100 the other day, which I wanted to do but when I got to their site it looked like it was "under contruction" and I did not find a way to order from there.

I am in the same situation, had to buy carper but want rubber. I would trade as well.

Re: ATL: Carpet mats for Rubber mats

Sorry bud that's unfortunate. However, get your own thread. Id like to get a hold of some rubber all-weather mats before I get these close to dirty. Im sure you didnt mean any harm.

SO...any takers?

Re: ATL: Carpet mats for Rubber mats

I read that. Big demand for the carpeted mats it seems tranman... I still would trade too but I will probably just buy a set in the not-too-distant future...

I'm kinda waiting to see what the aftermarket will bring. I had a nice set of "mats? for my wrangler that we more of a plastic than rubber and were molded to fit perfectly into the floor area. They were deep too with about 3" sides running up from the floor molded to the sides. They were awesome. I am waiting to see if an aftermarket manufacturer does something similiar, especially for the rear seating area. A on piece mat that would protect the center mound and back of the console would be awesome - that way drunk friends (like the ones that were in my FJ last night) won't scuff up the place. Anyone know what I am talking about.

Does that mean I still have to get my own thread or can I have a portion of this one?

Hey, what color is your FJ cooodyt, Titanium A?

So anyway, if anyone wants to trade their rubber for carpet, see cooodyt cause I am going to wait for a better solution. I just want to reiterate that I would trade too, but I am not going to... does that make sense?

Your funny Bobby, that was more for coodyt than you. I sold my carpet ones on Ebay, then bought the rubber ones. Coodyt, sorry for hijacking your thread man. My last post here. Peace dudes.

Re: ATL: Carpet mats for Rubber mats

Its fine guys I was just tryin to get some rubber mats asap. I even took out my carpet ones today and put them away so theyd stay clean while I went out and found some mud.

Yeah man, my FJ is titanium. It wasnt my first choice but hey, Ill take what I can get. Theres not enough of these FJ's running around to be as specific as I was. FJC 4x4 manual, side airbags. That pretty much narrows it down to next to no cars in my area.

How much did you get on ebay for them?

Re: ATL: Carpet mats for Rubber mats

cooodyt, congrats and welcome to the forum. It's a nut house here. We love giving one another a hard time, so don't take anything here too seriously.

I sold mine back in april when the FJ was just coming out and there was more buzz about them then now. I got $150 for them I think...then turned around and bought the mud ones for $140 for 5 pieces. Good luck.
