Re: trails in centreville/ashburn/reston?

From what i remember for that area there is nothing legal. Been gone for 2 years but still have friends back there. The closest would be GW forest near Harrisonburg. I know there are places near Woodstock but never had luck finding them and the other thing was it did not feel safe with back roads I was on. You almost have to be a local to know where to go. I also heard there was a pretty nasty trail that went on the top of the mountain from about Woodstock to a few towns down but never found it. There is also the area where they hold Camp Jeep. Piney River, Walton's Mountain and another i can't remember. Not sure of any other places that are legal. Another reason i moved to Colorado. Good luck and see you on the trails.

Nothing close.

Look into the FJ Bruisers (fjbrusiers.org) and Mudfling III at GWNF. It's coming up quick over memorial Day Weekend.

I think you'd have to head out west for good trails. For light to medium off road stuff, Quantico is pretty cool.
