I spent a lot of time getting all the sand out of my FJ. I had to remove the skid plate so I could re-attach my swaybar and washed all the sand out of there after 5lbs or so fell in my face while working. Saturday morning I finished the inside and hosed of the FJ again. For some reason today I pull out the rubber hitch plug and guess what. The hitch is open in the back. It acts as a scoop and the hitch plug keeps it in. It was nice to replace some of our lost beach sand with NC sand. Beach reclaimation at work. Much cheaper than the Feds.
