Re: Southwest dealers

Beaver in Santa Fe did have quite a list when I signed up. I think I was number 9. However, my car is now on the lot, ready to go. So, I assume that unless one ordered a crazy color/equipment combo they got or are getting their cars. No bull, no gimmicks. $500 down, MSRP or less if you are a good
customer. Or, 'build' your own and wait about 6 wks. Just be thankful you do
not live in a major metro LA/PHX/SF area where dealers routinely fleece everyone wanting the 'hot new' products (be they a Yaris or an FJ, or a GTI or G class or a Jag or a Cayman)

Re: Southwest dealers

Glad to hear old Linda Beaver is keeping things clean!! I saw my first one on the streets of Albuquerque, on Jefferson yesterday, it was silver.

I put down the $5K deposit at American 2 months ago, I kind of feel lke a boner for that one, now they are doing $500. Anyhow, black, A/T 4x4, loaded, then going straight over to Discount to put some BFG AT's. Will be here in 6 weeks, although, every time I call I hear something different.
As of last weekend they told me it was still $5K non-refundable at American. Needless to say, I went and plopped down $500 at Karl Malone and ordered one. I was told this morning that it should be in in about 8 weeks. Black, 4x, 6sp.
