Saw you in Summit County Colorado

Dang today I saw more FJ's in Summit County than I've seen anywhere else.
1. Saw you in Voodoo Blue, I was driven a fire truck out of the Keystone Fire Station, you were stopped at our emergency light.
2. City market, another Voodoo blue
3. Coming back from training on the damn road between Frisco and Dillon, Black Cherry.

A lot of you front rangers will have your skiis and FJ's in my neighborhood this ski season and I'll be looking for you, but please, lets not meet professionally. I don't want any emergency calls to FJ in the ditch or you hurt so drive safely and I'll give you an honk if I'm in the big red truck with flashy lites thing going... ha!

You'll see me up around Keystone in my Voodoo Blue in a month or more! Have they started making snow up there yet?

Re: Saw you in Summit County Colorado

Well, your just going to come visit again........NC.

Hero, yes, those shots look very familiar...it was a little nasty up here. While you were up there did you see any rescue crews for the guy who was killed up on the continental divide? Don't know a lot about it but someone had an accident on an ATV and was killed, heard it over our radios. Flights was buzzin around up there for a little bit.

Re: Saw you in Summit County Colorado

Scottsfire,

Did not see any sort of rescue effort. Visibility was really low in some areas so they could have been out there and we would have missed them.

I am down in Lakewood, close to the mountains but not close enough. Hero is the name of one of my dogs (the on chocolate colored one). We rescued him a few months ago, he had been found after being hit by a car and had a busted leg. Since he is a Shar Pei which is a breed from China my wife and I named him after one of our favorite Chinese movies, Hero.

Yeah, I hope to be back in December or January for a week of skiing, dinner at the Mint, and some good beer in Breck. I start to relax just thinking about it.

By the way beautiful dog Hero...
