Trouble at the carwash

For all you Surprise Arizona FJ owners if you love your FJ stay away from Cobblestone carwash. I for the most part always wash my own cars but got lazy today and decided to take it to the carwash what a mistake that was. I was watching it run through the carwash then all the sudden a white truck, rams my rear bumper then my FJ rams into the car into front of my FJ .I ran outside the guy had no idea how to drive my FJ he had it in reverse trying to drive it out of the bay instead pushing the white truck backwards .If I had not gone out there real quick they were trying to cover up there tracks. I could smell my clutch was burning. They were in total denial that they did any damage to my FJ. On a scale of one to ten how pissed off would you be if this happened to you I was a ten all the way my wife told me I over reacted. But I’m getting two new bumpers out of it .If I didn’t catch them in the act I would have been SOL.

That's why I like it in the Boston area, they don't let you leave the car, you have to go through the tunnel yourself.

Re: Trouble at the carwash

I would like to think that I would have kept my cool...until they tried to lie and cover up their screw up and say they did no damage. I would have been beyond a 10 and absolutely lost my mind.

I would be DEMANDING new bumpers. Not fixed. Not used. Not anything but new. If you're going to be in business where you let inexperienced kids drive other people's vehicles, then be insured and prepared for what is only the inevitible. Don't back down from this!!!!!

Oh, yeah...I also agree with Jessa. Next time go get it hand washed.
