Question FJC Shipment Activity?

Does any one know if there is a FJ shipment coming to the front range soon? My FJC was built some time before the 28th of September and I am hoping it will be on the next truck.

FYI, I was at John Elway on Saturday and they had 4 delivered without any warning they where coming, as a bonus for high sales. In other words no one could buy them pre-delivery. They had 2 voodoo, one black cherry, and one sun fusion. The sun is the only automatic. I drove the cherry with TRD, Hitch, RR, UP#2. Thought I would drop a lead for them since I test drove knowing I wouldn't buy from them. But I had to reassure myself since I haven’t driven one in months!

Can't wait to get mine. Any intell on the delivery would be awesome.

Jessa... I'll give you 20 bucks if you can get a plant to start growing in the mud stuck to your rear wheel well liner and then take a picture

Thanks! I've been PM-ing him to no avail. Ok, I am very anctiouse after 3 months of waiting though... They need a bouncing off the walls icon. Rover was very helpful with showing me where to find the manual etc. to stave off my FJ hunger for a bit. That was back when I thought I would have mine in late august or early september! *@&$&*ER$!!!

Just talked to my local special order guy today, and they say it is on a boat. Tell the weather man no hurricanes please! I It should be here between the 23rd and NOV 7TH. Are they just f-in with me!?

I should probably cool my jets for a few more weeks and see what happens but this is crazy!

Do you have an Elway in Caly!?? Sorry all, I was talking about the one in Colorado. I didn't think the old bronco's QB would have dealerships in other states. Wish someone had 12 here!! Dang!

PS: Rover PM'd me back... Thanks.

Hey man, just a thought--they might be F-ing with you. I have heard many-a-story on here about dealers selling "ordered" FJ's if someone happens to walk in the same day it gets there. From the dealer's perspective, it makes sense because he has a guaranteed sale, he only has to order your FJ again, and he knows you'll wait. . .

Re: FJC Shipment Activity?

it normally seems to take a bout a month give or take a few days from day of build to dealer delivery. Since you seem to know your build day, you can estimate that. However, it you go to the Toyota site and do a build, you might be able to find your serial # which you apparently already know and see the exact "scheduled" (usually a couple of days before this it will actually be delivered) day of delivery. I think they try to allow a couple of extra days in case there is some problem or glitch. This is nothing more than my experience and what the official line is, I have no idea.

Re: FJC Shipment Activity?

This has crossed my mind, seems to dodge accross every 6-18 hours!!
I think the guy I am ordering from will come through, but if he doesn't, I dang well am not waiting again!!!! I will order one from a state that is swimming in 'em!

fjtribe : ..However, it you go to the Toyota site and do a build, you might be able to find your serial # which you apparently already know and see the exact "scheduled"

Tried that build at toyota, but it did not seem to yeald a partial vin. Not sure why they don't want to give me that. I ordered a 4704 JT AL CQ DL FE. I should have sprung for the air bags.. with aw matts, cargo cover, and running boards. Trying to keep it cheep!

Thanks all for your support!!!

- and yes Rover does rock!! I have seen all the help he has given people here and he answered my PM quite quickly really. I am just a little.. ok ok.. alot impatient right now. If I have it all to do over again I will probably go strait to him instead just because he hangs around here and helps sniveling brats like me get new toys.
