1000th post in this thread. Woohoo!
Hey Lawrence, did you win a prize? Me thinks that maybe a new bumper or a winch would do just dandy for the person with post #1,000. Who do I talk to about getting you hooked up?

Just got back today, I did Cliff Hanger (all FJ run) on Thursday (Robbie led the run, he was with Trail Teams last year at TOTH), Moab Rim on Friday, and Golden Spike on Saturday. It actually takes you on three trails (Golden Spike, Poison Spider and Gold Rim) we were on the trail for 13 hrs.....Man it was awesome. Wednesday, me a couple of guys I met last year went on Fins N Things, Ben broke his rear diff., Robbie introduced us to the Regional Manager for the area. He had Ben's diff. replace in Grand Junction and Ben was able to run on Saturday. He rode with me on Thursday, they towed his vehicle on Friday morning and he was back by 3:00pm. Big thanks to Robbie for helping Ben out!!!!!!!!!!! Without meeting the Regional manager it may have been a week before Ben would have had his vehicle repaired. Sorry to say I have to cancel on TOTH, I may be in Oregon at that time, plans are not in stone but I need to be available to drive my wife...if needed. I did substain some damaged, but not from Moab, a guy backed into me Tuesday evening while I was filling up with gas in Gallup....what an idiot. He was a plumber and had pipe on a rack, he back into the back of my vehicle shattering my back passenger side window and denting the vehicle pretty bad. I was able to tape the window (clear packing tape) to keep it from falling out, I should know sometime today the cost to repair. The guy does have insurance, and will pay for it.
Jack,
Glad your back, sorry to hear about the accident. You will be missed at the TOTH. I spent Sunday with Brandon getting some trails laid out for the event. Chris

Wow, this thread has really evolved! Lawrence, it would be nice if one could get a prize each time it clicks over 1000. Perhaps we should institute a prize for #2000? Let me look into this and see what I could come up with. Chris

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

While we are all gearing up for TOTH in two weeks, I'm itching to get my camper out, and try my brand new 285 BFG mud terrain KM2's, So I got this comming weekend off! right now im planning on camping in the Pecos, and was wondering if anyone could share any good trails out that way? Im familiar with plenty of hikeing trails, but dont remember seeing any for 4WD.

I don't know of any but would like to see what people recommend. We opened our pop-up a couple of weeks ago and of course had a busted hose. It was the hose connecting to the cold water on the faucet so I know it was empty. Oh well, it's like owning a home, there's always repairs to be made.

Archie Chris I finally have gotten around to figuring out some of the Forum options. I set up my signature page and added the cool NMFJ sticker of yours to my signature with a "Gallup" on top. Let me know if that's OK w/you. If not, no worries I'll delete it. John

John,
No problem with the NM FJ sticker. I'm glad to share my sticker with fellow NM FJ's who enjoy the sticker. I will be selling these stickers at the TOTH if your interested. Chris
