1911,
I have a few PM on the dates and it is starting to look like 19-20 would work best for most people so far. However, I will wait until the Friday or Sat. before deciding on the date. Thanks for inquiring. chris
Chris,
I think I can make it down your way on the 19th. Just finishing up a movie job and I should be done. Thanks for putting this together and scouting the trails. They sound great, gotta bring a HD video camera for some of those water crossings. Let us know when the final date is settled upon.

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Hey Chris...Thanks for the effort! I will be there. I am just finishing up my build...geez! 2 months, you'd think I be done by now. I have just a few things left to do and I need an alignment. Nobody around here want's to touch it. OOOOOO lifted ...big tires...scary. Of course that's not saying much as I live in the middle of nowhere...well, it's not exactly the middle of nowhere but you can see it from here! If anyone has any suggestions...I'm listening. I regularly drive 150 miles for stuff, so no place is too far if they can do it right. This will be the maiden voyage for my new and improved FJ...boy, I hope nothing falls off!!??

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Chris,

I will likely be in for a run on the weekend of the 20th. It's tough to get away for a two-day trip though - so I might do one of the two, if that's what everyone wants to try. I am looking forward to getting back together with some of the FJs from the Ruidoso rally and meet some new faces.

Paul

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

For this run on the 20th, just curious as to who's camping and who is staying in town, if camping where and if staying in town where?

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Oct 20-21, 2007 Gila National Forest Black Range FJ Cruiser Run:
For those interested in coming to T or C, NM, the question asked so far is motel or camping? Several options for camping are : Elephant Butte Lake shore camping or camping on the Black Range District (for those camping we can set up a meeting place). Motels abound here in T or C, and prices range from $45.00 to $60.00 a night (also you can enjoy the many hot springs here in T or C). I can get some motel names and numbers for those interested and I will start working up agenda for our gathering. Stayed tuned, chris

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

We are up for camping - we just bought a small trailer to pull behind the FJ - should have it by then, we are itching to try it out. Let's keep in touch on plans.
