Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Jaxtoy- I did my own and offered help Chris with his. Perhaps when I get back we can have a body mount chop mod get together up here and wheel a trail or two. I'll be in touch when I get back.

Sounds great, any help would be greatly appreciated. Didn't mean to come off so forward and invite myself to your offer, just got excited because I haven't found anyone local that has done the chop and I like to have things done correctly. Chris said your work was exceptional. Use to spend a bit of time in Quemado, I was an Environmentalist (No not a Tree Hugger) for the State of NM, did inspections on Restaurants, Air Quality, Water Quality and Septic systems. Thanks again for understanding, I look forward to meeting you.
Jack

Re: Farmington Run - Keep us up to date on a proposed date. I will be out of town for 1.5 weeks in November and two weeks in Dec., but would still like to try something different. Let's keep this going. BTW - went to a meeting with the local TLCA group - high desert cruisers - great bunch of people and they are very open about FJCs and respect their off-road capabilities. Would be nice to combine some or our runs. They are planning a night-run in the Rio Puerco on the Wed evening before Thanksgiving - I'm sure if anyone was interested in joining - just let me know. Take care and be safe. Paul

Sounds good, don't think I could make it the night before Thanksgiving but you never know. I too would love to go to Farmington.Chris came to Socorro to pick up TRD shift knobs, had a great talk, man we really need to get together for another run to the Puerco. I will keep in touch.

I am up for a run in the puerco whenever you guys want to try and schedule a run. I really enjoyed doing the run with Jack this summer. Let's see if we can't come up with a date!

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Saturday? I would be OK after Noon - I am teaching a class in the AM. We'd have to make it a short run though, just due to the decreased daylight hours now. But, I'm OK with that. Let me know.

We could meet at the Fire Station on Southern. Lets figure out the exact time, we could run a little into the evening as far as I am concerned.Hey John can you make it at about 12:30 or do we need to meet later? I want to try these new tires, I believe they will rub during compression. Let me know.
