Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

That's too bad Sean, Hopefully next time and I'll try to remember to even take the camera.

By the way, did you ever get the rear bumper fixed?

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Hola NM FJers,
Hoped to make the Sunday run but Garson Studios had a pipe burst and it flooded the entire stage floor, luckily it didn't damage any sets as they are elevated. If that wasn't enough one of the catering trucks caught on fire!
I am now preparing for a swarm of locusts.
Take some pics on the Puerco run and have fun, next time I do get out to Puerco you guys can give me the highlight tour. Hopefully I will have my BudBuilt skids and sliders on by then.

Tomas

BTW - Jack somehow I just can't imagine you taking easy in your rig.
& 505FJ what website did you get the waypoints, We Be Jeeping or Trail Damage or hopefully another site with more new trails?

fishing in Alaska for a few days? I hope to be able to plan a trip like that soon. PLEASE post some pics when you get back.
I've been wanting to visit Alaska for years now. One sister flys free on Alaska Airlines so sends me fish every couple of years. I am still thinking of one day taking a ferry one way and driving the other. But this will be a great starter trip.

X2 - I have been wanting to plan a fishing trip up there for a while. I did one day of fishing when we were up there on a cruise, it was great, now I want to hit the rivers to wet a fly and catch some lunkers. Have a great trip!
Where did the cruise ship stop when you went fishing? I will be going to Ketchikan. looking at a floatplane that takes groups out to a lake where the bears hang out. May or June it looks like for the trip. Meet my friend in Payson. drive to Phoenix, take the 7AM flight and be on the water around noon. i can't wait!

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Tomas, we'll miss you buddy, maybe next time. We still have to make it out to La Bojada hill with you too. The website is the one I posted way back on this forum. Here's another link:

Jack, I guess I will be leading the way. I should have led last time but was a little shy about it for whatever reason. Oh and I'll be in the jeep again. My better half will have the FJ.

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Well, just got back from the Puerco run! It was a great day. We ended up meeting up with a group of jeepers and had 13 rigs in convoy, some stock, some highly-modified. The FJs held their own and I even yanked a stuck jeep with a strap. All in all, we had fun and met some really nice guys. Lawrence did a wonderful job finding new routes and fun challenges. Thanks everyone.

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Hey guys - me again. Just ordered new rear links from All Pro, due to the damage from the run. So, the Extreme Links are on sale on the website. I got the links and the link skids for less than the links run normally. Just letting you know in case you want to upgrade - just in case.

Sounds like ya got a good deal, timed the upgrade perfect. Enjoyed the runs today, and cudos goes to Lawrence for scouting and turning us on to some new challenges. Now its back to work, I need money for mods!!!!!!!
