I called the 1-800 number today and asked about the FJ Cruiser promotion.
The guy on the phone told me that Toyota has to get confirmation from the dealer stating that you are the owner of the FJ. After that, Toyota will send you a letter inviting you to participate in the program. The guy said there is one die cast model per FJ built, and the model only goes to the registered owner.
I asked if Hawaii was included, and he said yes. I then asked him about signing up online, and he said "you can do that, but until Toyota gets the info from the dealer, they're not sending anything". He went on to say that the info needed can take up to a month to get to Toyota.
Did anyone here get a letter from Toyota?

I also was wondering about this, the website says continental u.s. only. I called and gave em my info and they had no record of my VIN # at all, not just being sold. They kept my info and said they will confiirm with the dealer. So far I heard nothin.
we registered online and never got one. I am not really interested in getting one so I haven't called.
as an added bonus our VIN number is not registered anywhere. Both Geico and our Credit Union can not find our VIN when trying to find info on the car. It is a hassle.

If you don't want it get it and sell it on ebay, I saw them up around 450 bucks bro.
Kimo, heheheh
I ask my salesman and he called me in within few days and got me one but I wonder they would have send me one anyways because so far I haven't got anything yet but if I receive one extra you guys can have it.
