leaving for summit at midnight...
wednesday evening / thursday morning... want to get there between 9:00am and 12:00pm...
if i can get enough sleep during the day, will only have to make a few stops along the way.
anyone leaving around that time?
what channels on CB and GMRS will everyone be using?

They will? I always thought it was 16 for CB and 7 for family band?
I'll be leaving from Phoenix late that night, so I might run into you along the highway close to CO.

The "national" CB channel is 7. We (the azfj's) may be on "our" channel for awhile, who knows.....

for anyone that has a garmin rino 530, turn on your repeater channels so we have a little more range / distance... will try it when i hit the road...

I'll probably leave between 1:00am and 2:00am Friday morning. Google maps said 6hours 42min for me, but I figured at that hour I can do better than that.
If anyone sees me on the road, I'll be on CB ch7 like everyone else.
