Off Road Unlimited

Has anyone done business with Off Road Unlimited in Scottsdale (Raintree)? I went there yesterday to get locking lug nuts for the spare and they said they didn't carry them. Then I asked for a quote on trimming the mount. They said they couldn't just do that but they could remove the mud flap or something for $35. They weren't very helpful.

I got a quote for $80 an hour for welding/trimming the mount from Bullitt Automative in Tempe. Thoughts or suggestions?

'Cause my tires rub. They're 285s. I'm not going to do a lift for a while.

do it yourself save some cash.look at all the treads that been posted.A shop out here wanted 350 bucks.I told them to go play with themselves. You don't even have to weld it.Use quick steel 6 buck at any hardwar store.Did mines 5 months ago still strong as steel.lol

Thanks! I did read some threads, including the one showing pictures on how to trim the mount. Will check into the quick steel 6 buck (but of course will see what Homedadr and Bellydoc have to say, too).

I would worry if Homedadr showed up at my door carrying a grinder and a welder. But if he was also carrying a bottle of tequila, OK then...
