Santa Fe FJers?

I live in Santa Fe and was just curious how many fj forum members here live in Santa Fe.

Re: Santa Fe FJers?

I own land in the San Pedro Mountains in Santa Fe County and come to work on it several times a year; going to build a house on it and move there in a couple of years.

Lived in Santa Fe for 7 years during and after college. (1969-1976). Bought my first FJ40 in 1973, brand new, $5,217.00. Now own an FJ, living in Maine. Plan to bring this FJ "home" to Santa Fe soon!

Hey Tomas - I live about 45 miles away - does that count. Can I be a honorary Resident?

At least 4 of us in the four corners. Don't make it to Santa Fe very often.

Re: Santa Fe FJers?

Good to see all responses. I see FJs in Santa Fe all day but not many look like they get dirty or have even seen a 4x4 trail.
I am thinking of try and set up a informal meet here in Santa Fe at a local watering hole in late September. Maybe a run out on the Caja del Rio or an old La Bajada road run. I'll keep everyone posted.
What happened to the meets at Billy's Long Bar in Albu. are they still happening?

Re: Santa Fe FJers?

The wife and I were in your fair city at the beginning of Aug. to do the Indian art shows. We could not believe the number of FJs there. Every year we get a short break and make the drive up Pacheco Canyon, great country...
