Hey gramps, shouldn't you be having your early bird dinner right about now???
I knew when I posted that, it would bring you out of the woodwork. And by the way, I lost my Denny's senior card in the G-string of a stripper. It was my way of telling her to retire......

Exploring ghost towns was one of the reasons I got the FJC or at least one of my excuses for my impulse buy.
Someone put a run up to start hitting these places...Whoever knows of a place then pick a day and let's make it happen
If anyone can give some general directions then we can start playing with google earth and searching for cool stuff

Copper Creek was a small (~200 people) mining camp in the late 1800s into 1900s. Today it is located on private land and closed to the public. However I know the rancher who owns this land; it may be possible to arrange a trip with 4 or 5 vehicles. Many people believe the Post Office was located at the Copper Creek sign, however it was located several miles to the northeast of that location. I have been researching this area for several years. Its history is colorful!
I aquired this stock certificate last year. Dated 1908.
